The 5 mile hike is very much worth it. The view at the top is fantastic.

We took a walk on the gulf trail and it was beautiful and quiet. The trail was a perfect length.

The north and south trail connect, you really need to take both to make a full loop, plan at least 3 1/2 hours for this almost 7 mile hike. Go to the lookout deck, it’s worth it, follow that side trail and until you see the lookout deck, it’s there.
